Forty Foot Co. imports 72 by 80 inch woven pads by the container and sells them to movers by the dozen and the pallet. Pick up at the warehouse, or take delivery anywhere between Baltimore and Washington.
Now taking letters of intent for the first container, landing in Baltimore in early 2027. A letter of intent puts your dozens on it at the prices below and converts to an order only when you approve the sample.

New accounts prepay or pay by ACH on delivery; net 15 to 30 after two or three clean orders. A Maryland resale certificate comes before the first invoice.

How buying direct works
Ask for a quote or sign a letter of intent
Tell us your dozens per quarter and whether you pick up or take delivery. A letter of intent is not a purchase order: it sets your quantity and price ceiling, and it converts to an order only when you approve the sample.
Put the sample on your own scale
A pad comes to your dock before you commit to anything. Weigh it, measure it, cut it open if you like. Under 6.65 lb for a claimed 7 lb pad, send it back.
Pick up, or take a pallet
Pickup at the Baltimore warehouse at the pickup price. Delivery by the pallet across the Baltimore to Washington corridor at the delivered price, usually within the week.
The blanket, written to stop the underweight cheat
The trade specs a pad by weight per dozen. A "7 lb" pad that arrives at 5.5 lb is the classic failure, so every line of the sheet is checked at the factory before the balance is paid, and again on our dock.
- Twenty blankets weighed at random before the container is loaded; the lot is rejected if the mean is under spec.
- Every bale weighed again on arrival in Baltimore and logged against its lot code.
- A sewn label on every pad: fiber content, country of origin, RN number.
- Count or weight short on delivery? Tell us within 14 days with the bale number and a photo; the remedy is replacement on the next run.

Why a warehouse in Baltimore
No professional pad supply house operates in Baltimore proper. The nearest branch is in Alexandria, Virginia; the rest truck pads in from Delaware or ship them from Pennsylvania. A Baltimore warehouse with a pickup price and same-week delivery is a new option for the corridor's movers.
Fleets restock from March to May, and more than 60 percent of US moves happen from May to September. The first container is timed to land before the season. Lock summer supply in the winter.
